KT Tunstall 'Wheels on Fire' Version
Just thought id share this live version of the theme tune with yas! Found it randomly when i was looking for KT Tunstall stuff, im a big fan of hers
so i was luvin it when i found it!!
I think its quite good, its KT n Billy Bragg, n you can listen to it and then download it by creating an account which is free! hope ya like!

Which mix of the Pet Shop Boys' song "Absolutely Fabulous" do you like better? The original, or the Rollo Our Tribe Tongue-in-Cheek Mix?
It's a toss-up for me, but I especially like how the latter has Patsy's "Bum so tight, bum so tight, bum so tight, bum so tight, bum so

The orignal, I love the quotes Jo and Jen randomly shouted in a micro ( )
for this song, as long as the music keeps playing. The remix just repeated the quotes a bit too often.

episodes. But I can see how "Dull soulless dance music" would be something Joanna would say just for the song.
I guess my question elsewhere of what episode "Ong plong kerplinky plong" was from was misguided.

All the quotes ARE taken from episodes. You can faintly hear the audience laughter in some of them.
"Dull soulless dance music" is from Series 2 Ep 6, and Ong plong kerplinky plong" () is from Series 1 Ep 1.
I already pay for old people to eat cake.

It is indeed a quote from series 2, episode Birth while Eds and Pats are watching 'Top of the Pops'. (I know, I'm an absolute AbFab fanatic knowing all these quotes..) All the quotes from the song are actually from
the series. They did do a special video though.

I understand your confusion sorry! What I actually meant that there's not really a meaning behind all the lines they used for the song - these are
more or less catch-phrases.

Oh, for sure! I actually own Series 5 (+ White Box) -- but I know the earlier ones are better! It was my aunt who first got me into the show: Her
favorite is the one where they fly the Concorde all the way to NYC just to photograph a door handle!
Fortunately, BBC America plays AbFab on Tuesday nights. But I really just want to buy the full DVD set!

There are actually 3 different versions, as far as I know
1. Absolutely Fabulous - the original
2. Our Tribe Tongue-In-Cheek Remix
3. Hot Tracks Remix (my fave)
I dunno if any of you have heard the Hot Tracks Remix, but I think it's hawt Hanneke sent it to me (she sent me all of them actually hehe ) and it's different in that it has a longer instrumental intro and later on in the song, it includes Eddie's courtroom ramble from
Poor. It's quite cool! And, as with the Our Tribe Remix, it has Patsy's
"Buns so tight, he was bouncing off the, buns so tight he was bouncing off the, buns so tight he was bouncing off the wall..." Very cool mix, but it's also long.. 6:41 .. though the Our Tribe mix is 7:10, so nevermind!! LMFAO .. Anyhoo, yeah
